Kris brings over 20 years of experience in energy marketing across oil, gas, and power in both North American and global markets. He has progressed from analyst to trader to leading marketing desks and overseeing risk—giving him a rare end-to-end view of how value is created, protected, and scaled.

His career has been defined by turning market insight into commercial opportunity, optimizing logistics, structuring creative deals, and developing the systems that support disciplined growth. Over the past five years, he has also advised energy companies on strategy, developed risk strategy, project development, and emerging opportunities including hydrogen, battery storage, and market risk expansion.

Known for simplifying complexity, building high-trust relationships, and creating scalable processes, Kris now serves as COO and Co-Founder of Nexus Settle—applying his commercial and operational expertise to modernize the oil settlement process and unlock efficiency across the value chain.
